We started off the day with Jaclyn and Rouzbeh getting ready at their salon and hotel. Hotels sometimes have the best window light for detail shots, and the window in Jaclyn’s room was absolutely perfect. Her gold Badgley Mischka heels were to die for! We also loved the vibrant bouquets of fuchsias, purples, reds, and greens! Jaclyn wore a beautiful lace gown with a sweetheart neckline, and her bridesmaids all wore gold dresses. Rouzbeh and his guys looked handsome in their black suits and purple ties. Once everyone was ready, we headed over to the Crocker Art Museum for their ceremony and reception. The museum was such a fun and unique place to shoot! The ceremony took place in one of the gallery rooms, which was a setting unlike any we’ve ever had before for a ceremony. We also got to take advantage of the galleries for their bride and groom shots, which looked so romantic in with all the paintings.

Last year we shot Sam and Jared’s maternity session and now Emma is already a year old! It’s crazy how time flies. We had so much fun shooting the three of them again, and we totally had to include the antique floral couch that Sam loves so much (we used it at their engagement, wedding, and maternity sessions too). We loved Sam’s ivory lace dress and cowboy boots, while Emma looked adorable in a white long sleeve shirt, baby jeans, leather moccasins, and her floral printed headband!

Shannon and Tyler had their engagement session at Tyler’s family’s almond orchard. We went to one small part of the orchard, and it was crazy how many great places to shoot all in one spot. We loved getting to use the old flatbed truck, which went perfectly with their outfits! They also brought along their two dogs Blue and Fox, who joined in on the session. We thought it was super cute that Shannon brought along the red plaid blanket and yellow lantern for props, too!

The row of Palm trees across the street from the Pavilion By The Bay had the perfect feeling of old Hollywood for Stefanie and Nino’s wedding! Of course we had to make one in black and white! The Pavilion by the Bay also has the most breathtaking views of San Francisco’s skyline! We literally walked out the door and crossed the street to get this shot. This was actually taken quite a while after the sun went down so we really got the colors of the sky and buildings of the city as they were just lighting up.
