Melissa and Brett are getting married in September at the Metropolitan Womans Club in San Francisco. We met them purely by chance. We were actually in New Orleans for a photography conference when we met Kati of Light Splash Photography who mentioned that she lived in Northern California, too, and that she had a friend (Melissa) that was still searching for a wedding photographer! (Thanks again, Kati, for recommending us, and we will see you at the wedding!) For their engagement session, Brett and Melissa chose to head over to Napa Valley. We had a great time taking them to V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena, CA. They were so fun to photograph! Melissa totally knew how to smile with her eyes. Obviously someone has been watching Next Top Model. We also headed over to Yountville, CA for a few more fun shots. By the time we got back to V. Sattui, it was packed because of the BBQ weekend lunch special, but that didn’t stop us from getting some tri-tip!
