We go down to San Francisco quite a bit for weddings, but this time Eve and Rob switched stuff up on us and came up from San Francisco to have their wedding in Chico (Eve grew up here). We started off the day by photographing Rob at Bidwell Park and Eve at Bidwell Mansion. Eve picked out the perfect dress for her vintage-themed wedding, and she wore vintage turqoise shoes that originally belonged to her mom. The two of them chose to incorporate a lot of the things they love into their wedding, and you could really see their personalities in everything from the ceremony to the reception. Eve is a singer, and loves music, so she and Rob had some of their friends perform at the ceremony and reception. They also combined their love of San Francisco and Chico by having the guests sign old postcards from both cities. One of Eve and Rob’s favorite things to do is ride their scooter around the city, so Eve surprised Rob with a groom’s cake that had a custom Rob-and-Eve-on-a-vespa cake topper. It was so cute!
