Fisherman’s Wharf at sunset is one of the most gorgeous spots in the city! Jamie and Nick looked so romantic together!

We’re headed to Ireland in April! We’ll be staying at four breathtaking Castle and Manors across the Irish Countryside that are just perfect for doing an epic photo shoot! We have a few dates available for shoots, so contact us if you want to join us for an engagement session, family portraits, or an Ever After session.

Caitlin and her bridesmaids started off their day getting ready at the Hyatt in downtown San Francisco, and it had the most amazing view of the bay on one side and an the city’s skyscrapers on the other. You could even see their wedding venue, The Winery SF out on Treasure Island, from their balcony! The view of the skyscrapers also served beautifully as a backdrop for Caitlin’s details, including her fantastic silver glitter heels. Caitlin and Steve had their first look on the shoreline at Treasure Island. The cityscape made for such gorgeous pics, and we loved the silhouettes that we were able to get there as well! Caitlin’s flowers were done by a family friend, and we thought the purple artichokes were such a unique and fun touch! The Winery SF is beautiful venue, with a big open floor space surrounded by wine barrels. The whole place was filled with soft, warm light that created a really romantic setting for Caitlin and Steve’s ceremony and reception.

Lillian and Eric celebrated their wedding with two beautiful ceremonies! The first was a Chinese tea ceremony, which was preceded by Eric and his groomsmen having to perform all sorts of challenges set by the bridesmaids to prove Eric’s love for Lillian before he would be allowed to enter for the tea ceremony itself. (One of the task where Eric has to wear disposable underwear on his head was particularly hilarious!) Once the tea ceremony was finished, we headed over to Golden Gate Park and the marina for pics, and then it was on to the second ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Church. The reception took place at the beautiful Julia Morgan Ballroom, and on our way there we took a little side trip and walked down the street to get some fun shots with the trolley cars parked nearby. The ballroom was decorated in Lillian’s wedding colors of blue, gold, and pink, and the whole thing looked so fantastic with the vaulted ceilings and romantic chandeliers there. One of our favorite things to do in San Francisco is shoot from the rooftops downtown, so right before sunset we went up to the roof of the ballroom’s building and took some absolutely gorgeous shots with the skyline!

Steph and Joe have a bunch of restaurants that they love around the city so for their engagement session they called up one of their favorites, Nopa, and asked if we could do pics there. It was so much fun to get to go to the restaurant before it opened and play with all the great settings there! We were also huge fans of Steph’s outfit accents! She added a pop of color to her cream lace dress with these magnificent, suede, royal blue wedges and a twisted bead necklace. After Nopa, we spent a little time wandering around their neighborhood finding cute buildings for Steph and Joe to pose in front of. Then we headed over to Lands End and made the short hike down to a gorgeous point with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
