We couldn’t resist taking advantage of the Cliff House’s spectacular views of the ocean for Michelle and Phil’s sunset pictures!

Jessica and Joe Bob are total foodies and share a passion for wine and travel so it’s perfect that they’ve chosen to get married at Thomas George Estates, a beautiful winery in Healdsburg, California. For their engagement session, they grabbed a picnic basket, a couple of glasses, and a bottle of wine, and we all explored the beautiful scenery at Sonoma Valley Regional Park. There are a million gorgeous spots there and we found a gigantic oak tree covered in hanging moss in the midst of a golden field, which made for super romantic photos.

Thank you guys for the great engagement photos! We’re new to the idea of being shot by professional photographers, but you put us at ease quickly. So far we’ve used the photos for the Save the Dates, our holiday cards, the back of the wedding invitation, our Facebook pages, our LinkedIn photos, the guest book for the upcoming wedding, and we have one photo beautifully framed hanging in our dining room. I’d say we’ve gotten our money’s worth and we’re not even done with them yet! Can’t wait for the wedding photos…
Golden Gate Park is such an beautiful place for engagement photos! The bridge at Stowe Lake is just beautiful and romantic, the pier is so dreamy over the water, and there’s plenty of spots in the woods for unique backdrops. The whole park has this other-worldly look to it, so we have tons of fun shooting there. Stefanie and Nino are super in love and looked absolutely adorable in every photo! We especially loved snapping photos of Nino’s awesome leather oxfords with red laces and Stefanie’s fantastic strappy wedges and adorable vintage-inspired, pointed, mint, baby-heeled shoes. It all made for a great day, and we’re super excited for Stefanie and Nino’s big day at the Pavilion by the Bay!

Sarah and Robert wanted to have a fairy tale wedding, and the Grand Island Mansion was the perfect place for one! With it’s columns, statues, a beautiful fountain, gardens, and amazing marbled interiors, every square inch of the mansion is exquisite photo material. Sarah chose hot pink, navy, and gold as her wedding colors, and had super fun and adorable hot pink heels that popped beautifully from under her open-backed, crystal-beaded, wedding gown. After the ceremony, we were thrilled to catch the sunset for some breathtaking silhouette shots underneath the mansion’s majestic columns. The ballroom always has the most romantic light for a reception, and the cake looked fit for a queen under the stunning candlelight.

Josie and Jaime’s wedding was held at the picturesque White Ranch in Chico, CA. We absolutely love the barn and wooden shed there (we even hung one of their dresses from the shed for pictures)! The flowers, done by Melinda at M Creations, were gorgeous with bright coral roses that were a lovely pop of color for the rustic setting! Josie and Jaime did a traditional timeline, so before the ceremony we got a chance to take both of them around the venue separately to do individual shots. We thought that it was super sweet that for their ceremony they each walked in at the same time and met at the altar! Afterwards, we got a chance to take them around with their bridal party and take advantage of all the amazing spots White Ranch has to offer, including their gravel country road and the beautiful willow tree. For the centerpieces at the reception, they used unique glass bottles with a few flowers in each one and succulents by the side. Instead of a traditional caterer, they had food trucks that were absolutely delicious! (We are now huge fans of The Black Kettle and Ike’s Smokehouse!) Even their dessert was from The Cupcake Crusader food truck!
