Brianna and Spencer live in LA, but the come up to the Napa/Sanoma area at least once a year so their annual trip was the perfect opportunity to do their engagement session. Jack London State Park wasn’t open yet when we started their shoot, so we found a cute little shopping center in Glen Ellen and got some shots there. Then we headed over to the park and found great locations to shoot throughout the ruins of the property. We even took some shots of them sitting on the wall of an old pig pen. It had stone walls with iron gates, and was definitely one of the nicest pig pens we’ve ever seen! Brianna and Spencer were super fun to shoot and we loved the pop of color she added with her blue scarf!

We started off Sabreen and Dustin’s engagement session at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. Though it was a bit foggy throughout the shoot, it made for a cool ambiance and some great shots. There is an amazing rock bridge that we just loved using for their pics! After the park, we hopped over to Baker Beach where they changed into their jerseys with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Sabreen and Dustin both love the Giants, and Dustin even proposed at a Giants game, so it was a perfect outfit choice for the two of them! Their jerseys not only had their last name on them, but when put together the numbers also made their wedding date!

We are lucky enough now to share a wedding anniversary with Candice and Matt who are also high school sweet hearts! We loved being able to share our day with them, and it was clear that they were meant for each other. Candice was so sweet in letting everyone know it was our 6 year anniversary! I don’t think we’ve been told happy anniversary so many times. She also asked Dusty what our song was and made us dance when it was played! We are so blessed to have such wonderful couples!

We were very excited when Christy booked us for her wedding in Joshua Tree National Park, since we had never been to Joshua Tree or shot a session in the desert! We absolutely love traveling and shooting in different locations. Also, since it was near our anniversary we made an early little trip out of it! After their first look, we went into the park for their bride and groom shots. Believe it or not it was actually 90 degrees there that day and 95 degrees where we live in Northern CA.
