Cara and Brian’s wedding day was HOT, but they were super smart and planned ahead. They had their ceremony at the Neighborhood Church in Chico in a beautiful area next to a creek that also happened to be totally covered in shade! Cara looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress, and Brian attempted to give her a run for her money by giving all of his groomsmen flannel-patterned socks. They had two of the most adorable flower girls, one of whom even decided to sit down and play with her flowers half way down the aisle!

For Kerri and Andy’s session, we went to some of their favorite places in Davis. We started off at the stop sign where they had their first kiss while they were out for a walk, then went to really cute walking trail with rows of trees on both sides, and finished off at a park that had the most random GIANT dominos!

A lot of you brides and grooms probably recognize Elisa by now! Elisa’s family hired us to shoot her wedding, and then a few months later we turned around and hired her to work for us! Elisa and Robby had a million cute little details for their wedding, tons of which were from our house again like we did for Dusty’s sister’s wedding. Elisa had he cutest idea of taking old sheet music and using it to print her table names and reception signs. We also absolutely loved her vintage-inspired mermaid dress, and her friend Anneliese did such a wonderful job with her hair. (Robby didn’t look too shabby either!) The ring bearers were so cute, too, with their little suspenders and hats!Elisa’s dad even got in on some of the decorative fever and hung the fancy “LOVE” letters by the dance floor himself! You can see his handy-work in some of the heart-wrenching dancing shots. Definitely a unique, lovely, and lively wedding!

Grand Island Mansion is one of our favorite places to shoot weddings so we were super excited when Sabreen and Dustin had us come photograph theirs! After doing her hair and makeup, Sabreen put on her dress in the suite on the top floor of the mansion. We absolutely loved how Sabreen wore her hair two different ways during the day. First she had it down for the ceremony, and then after the ceremony she had it pinned up for her pics and the reception. The reception was held in the tent behind the mansion to accomodate all of the guests, and they had gorgeous uplighting that made for fantastic shots of the party!
