Dusty’s little sister isn’t so little anymore. In fact, this is her wedding! She and Bill got married at Green Gate Ranch in San Luis Obispo, and it was SUCH a cute venue! We had the run of the property for the entire day, so after Ashleigh did her hair and makeup, we went all over the ranch for pics with her, Bill, and their wedding party. This was one of the first weddings at the ranch, so they had just finished up renovating the barn, which made for an amazing backdrop for pics. For their reception, Ashleigh and Bill chose to have long plank tables that we decorated with books and antiques from our house, and it all looked so cute with the flowers and all the place settings!

Christy and Chris met while rock climbing at Joshua Tree National Park, so it was such a cute idea for them to have a destination wedding there! The high desert is definitely one of the most unique places that we have ever shot. Their wedding was held at the Sacred Sands Bed and Breakfast, which is just a few miles outside of the entrance to the park. Sacred Sands itself has amazing desert architecture and design, and an absolutely beautiful view of the valley sloping gently down below it (see their sunset pics below). For their bride and groom shots, Christy and Chris jumped in our car and we drove into the park for shots in the huge rocks and all of the joshua trees. It was such a surreal landscape and Christy and Chris looked so fantastic in the middle of all of it!

Sarah and Phil’s wedding had every gorgeous lace detail that you could ever hope to have at a vintage-style wedding! Her dress was so beautiful, and the dresses for her flower girls (who rode into wedding in a wagon) were beyond cute! The guys wore paisley ties and had suspenders and vests that matched the style perfectly. Phil’s family owns Basque Norte in Chico, so it made the perfect place to hold their reception. We are so lucky to have so many brides that have a million fun details at their wedding, and Sarah and Phil’s reception was no exception. It is amazing how many little keys she found to use in all of the place cards, drink tags, and favors!

Trevor and Grace’s wedding ceremony was held at the Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church with their reception at the Lafayette Park Hotel. Grace had a beautiful dress with a gorgeous draped skirt and train, and Trevor looked super sharp in both his dress uniform and the tuxedo he changed into after the ceremony! Since Trevor is a marine, they had an honor guard set up a saber arch outside the church. It’s always so fun when our couples do a big exit like that and their guests went wild! At the reception, the two of them had the cutest idea for their guest table where they lined up different bottles in which guests could put notes for them for when they have their first baby, get their first house, and have special anniversaries.

Therese and Ken get so twitterpatey and smiley when they’re within six inches of each other that they are absolutely adorable to photograph! They got married at the Palms in Chico, which is always a fun place to shoot! Therese and Ken made a lot of their decorations out of cut, patterned paper, and we loved how it all turned out. My favorite piece was all of the table place card flags that they made with so many cute different papers and then attached to twine with little clothes pins. They also had fun little jars of olive oil as gifts for all of their guests!
